The Kent State University School of Art Collection and Galleries presents two exhibitions at off-campus galleries: “Memoirs of Disintegration” by Marie Bukowski and “Folds, Gestures, Movement” by Jenniffer Omaitz. Receptions for both exhibitions will take place on Friday, Dec. 7, from 5-8 p.m. during the First Friday Art Walk in downtown Kent.
“Memoirs of Disintegration” is a collection of recent prints created by Ms. Bukowski and will be on view at the Kent State Downtown Gallery, located at 141 E. Main St. in Kent, from Dec. 5, 2018, through Jan. 12, 2019. “Folds, Gestures, Movement” includes paintings by Ms. Omaitz that were created from 2015-2018 and will be on view at the Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center, located at 215 S. Depeyster St. in Kent, from Dec. 7, 2018, through March 30, 2019.
