Blue Barn Winery hosts "live" easy listening oldies every Friday evening with northern Ohio's best entertainers. Barefoot McCoy (from Columbus) plays everything from Peter, Paul & Mary to the Mamas & Papas. We are located in a restored civil war era "blue" barn just outside Wooster on a beautiful donkey-rescue farm. This is the last remaining civil war blue-barn in America. Our wines are some of the best in Ohio made from a blend of California, Washington and Ohio grapes. Music is outside on the patio and grass on our beautiful estate. Our rescue donkeys often come down out of curiosity and listen to the music. Plenty of portable tables and chairs are provided but you may also bring your own lawn chairs. In case of inclement weather, we move the music inside the barn where the acoustics are unbelievable. You may bring your own food, just no outside beverages or alcoholic. We provide (sell) the wine, beer and sodas.
Teacher 911 is shout-out and thank you to all our wonderful teachers who often go underappreciated. If you are an active or retired teacher or school employee, just say "Teacher 911" to the staff when ordering wine or beer and receive a complementary "Teacher 911" wine glass to take home. This offer is good every Friday after school, even during the summer.
