Dr. Holmes will speak about the intentional defacement of Italian paintings in the 14th and 15th centuries and frames this work in relation to conceptions about “vandalism” and “iconoclasm” and contemporary attacks on cultural heritage. This lecture is free and open public.
Cost: Free and open to the public.
