Akron’s K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch Spring League kicks off Wednesday, April 11 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will continue for the next four Wednesday nights on the soccer fields behind the Silver Lake Police Station. We’ll start after work at 5:30 and run till dusk so if you need to come late, no problem – we’ll fit you in.
If your dog loves playing fetch with a Frisbee or you’d like to get them started, come join us -- this is the dog sport for you. K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch is an easy game to learn, League play is a friendly yet competitive environment, and it’s great fun for you and, especially, your dog. We'll have dog-safe frisbees you can try and purchase (they're cheap) if you don't have your own.
To get a sense of the rules for the game, visit www.TossAndFetch.com
It’s also a perfect outdoor activity for the entire family. There’s no age limit so bring your kids to play because they get handicap points to help us score against other clubs around the world.
The cost is only $10 for each dog/human who plays (that comes out to $2 per week – a bargain) and everyone who plays receives an official K9 Frisbee Toss & Fetch commemorative, embroidered patch.
If Wednesday evenings don’t work for you, check out the other Northeast Ohio Clubs in Brunswick, Mantua, Youngstown and Painesville who all play at different times. All of the information for all the locations is on our Ohio Disc Fogs Facebook page here:
Come out and play the easiest, friendliest, funnest dog sport on the plant. Your dog will love you even more for it.
